Cover GAPAF Events

GAPAF welcomes responsible media coverage that contributes to an accurate public understanding of Aerial Power Athletics, its athletes and its international community. Media accreditation is granted to verified professionals for a specific GAPAF event and remains subject to venue capacity, operational requirements and event-specific conditions.

Important: submission of an application does not constitute approval. Applicants should not make non-refundable travel arrangements until written confirmation has been received.
ELIGIBILITY & ACCESS

Who May Apply

Applications are assessed according to professional relevance, editorial purpose, available capacity and the requirements of the event.

Eligible Applicants

  • Journalists and editors representing established print, broadcast, news agency or online media.
  • Professional sports and editorial photographers.
  • Television, radio and recognised production teams.
  • Established digital creators and podcasters with demonstrable editorial activity.
  • Authorised media representatives of participating national federations or partner organisations.

Commercial promoters, fan accounts, private photographers and accompanying persons are not normally eligible unless specifically approved.

Accreditation May Provide

  • Entry to designated media areas and press facilities.
  • Press briefings and mixed-zone opportunities where available.
  • Official schedules, results and event media materials.
  • Photography and filming from authorised positions.
  • Operational support from the GAPAF Media & Communications team.

Access to the field of play, athlete-only, technical, medical, anti-doping, safeguarding or other restricted areas is not included unless expressly authorised.

Applications must be submitted before the event-specific deadline. Incomplete or unverifiable applications may not be considered.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Media Rules

  • Accreditation is event-specific, personal and non-transferable.
  • The badge must remain visible and be shown to authorised personnel on request.
  • Media activity must not obstruct athletes, officials, spectators, operations or emergency routes.
  • Instructions from GAPAF, the organiser, venue security and technical officials must be followed.
  • The privacy, dignity and safety of participants must be respected, with particular care regarding minors and vulnerable persons.
  • Flash photography is prohibited where indicated. Drones, remote cameras and fixed equipment require prior written approval.
  • Live streaming, broadcast exploitation and commercial redistribution require separate written rights approval.
  • GAPAF names, marks and event imagery may not be used to imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.
  • Accreditation may be suspended or revoked for misrepresentation, unsafe conduct or breach of these conditions.
